Beautiful Spring Lake District Wedding
Spring wedding at the Grange Hotel, Grange-over-sands
It's not every day that I get to photograph the wedding of one of my oldest friends (and be a guest at a wedding!) So when Jessica asked me to photograph her and Paul's wedding I was absolutely honoured. Jess and I went to secondary school and college together - so I was preparing for this to be an emotional one!
On the 7th April I joined Jess and Paul and their famillies for their gorgeous wedding in grange-over-sands. In the morning Jessica and her Mum and Sister got ready at the Grange Hotel and at 2pm they got married. The ceremony was absolutely beautiful with both Paul and Jess reading their own vows - it was really hard to take pictures through the tears! It was an incredibly wet day, but as if by magic just after the ceremony the rain stopped and we managed to grab a little time outside in the lovely gardens.
Before we ate we had the speeches; Mother of the Bride, Bride, three Best Men who all did great and finally the Groom delivered his speech in spoken word which was amazing! I didn't think that Paul (the groom) could amaze me any more then after the speeches he serenaded Jess with two songs, the whole room was in tears!
Following the speeches we moved up in to the party room where Jess and Paul had pre-prepared an excellent set list for the night and we danced the night away (and scoffed our faces, ok, I scoffed my face!)
It was a wonderful day and a privilege to be part of it! Big thanks to everyone involved including:

Here is a tiny selection of my favourite images from the day! Feel free to leave a comment for Jess and Paul at the bottom.
