Cool Clitheroe Clocktower Wedding

There’s a new wedding venue in Clitheroe Town!

When Ellie got in touch with me (which was a recommendation from another photographer - thank you Kirsten Platt!) I was so excited! Her and Sam were travelling over from Preston to get married in shiny new Clitheroe Clocktower. I live in Clitheroe so I was so confused that I had never actually heard of this place before. Anyway, she sent me the details and I did some research and I was so excited to discover that Clitheroe Registry Office are now allowing ceremonies in the room above the library. This is such fantastic news as Clitheroe Registry Office is not a very pretty building and the Clocktower is phenomenal. It’s on a corner and looks out with views straight up to the castle and because of it’s corner setting it’s flooded with gorgeous natural light.

Ellie and Sam came over for the ceremony and then they were heading home to celebrate so I only spent a couple of hours with them and their close family and friends. They really wanted to involve their two black lab dogs so we took them for a walk just up from the library and as you can see Clitheroe is looking more like some of the cooler boroughs of London, than a small market town.
