Beautiful Summer Wedding at Eaves Hall

I just love Eaves Hall, it’s a stones throw from where I live but it feels like it’s in its own grandiose world. Katy and James who are both live in Clitheroe chose this gorgeous venue for their wedding reception after getting married at St Mary Magdalene C Of E Church in Clitheroe, Ribble Valley.

Katy got ready in the morning at Eaves Hall in the Lodge, followed by the Bridal Suite - where the light is just divine and the Style Sisters were on hand to get Katy and her bridal party ready - I have to say the Style Sister are some of the best in the business, I have only worked with them a couple of times but they are wonderful at what they do and lovely lovely humans. The highlight of the day for me was the gorgeous baby blue vintage Fiat 500 that came to pick Katy up and take her to church. I would have it as my daily drive if we could fit all the rabble in!

I know St Mary’s quite well as the church is linked to my little boy’s school so it was so nice to be shooting a wedding there, the star of the ceremony though was James, I love a groom who can show his emotions and he didn’t hold back which made me very happy. For me weddings are all about emotion and feeling and yes its nice when things look good but give me a wedding day full of life and emotion any day!

After church the Florence the beautiful Fiat 500 was back and took James and Katy up to Eaves Hall where we partied the day away. Lots of love to Katy’s bridesmaids who have become lovely insta friends to me, they are such a wonderful bunch of ladies and a really good example of how to choose your Bridesmaids. Pick the people who want to make your day perfect for you but also enjoy as much as possible with you! The speeches were on point and had me laughing and crying in equal measure and I loved having crackers as favours (think Christmas not cheese). The evening rolled round with a little drama in the way of a power cut - but we managed a candlelit first dance which was very romantic - even when the music cut out and we were all singing. (I must add that the power cut was no fault of Eaves Hall and the staff handled it very well to say what a surprise it was). Anyway less from me, let’s see some photos shall we!
