Becky and Oli’s Italian Wedding in Siena, Tuscany

I was so lucky to be able to photograph two weddings in Italy in 2019 both within weeks of each other but totally different. One was in Sorrento by the sea and Becky and Oli’s wedding was in the Tuscan hillside - a beautiful location for their stunning outdoor wedding.

The wedding took place at Oli’s Uncle’s house; Casale Montecchio in Tuscany and as I pulled up at the house it was a bustling hive of activity - such a great atmosphere with family and friends getting involved with all kinds of wedding prep. Oli and Becky had dreamt of getting married outside, and for a moment the weather threatened to put a dampener on an outdoor ceremony BUT with lots of positive thinking the clouds and thunder moved swiftly on and an outdoor ceremony was what they got!

Everyone got ready on the estate and the when the ceremony rolled around family and friends gathered for a really moving service led by Becky’s Auntie. Once the ceremony was done everyone enjoyed food and drinks on the lawns until the late hours and we were even treated to a stunning Tuscan sunset - the perfect day!
